Description	Junctional Adhesion Molecule 1 Antibody (YA4597) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to CD321. It can be applicated for IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.
Background	CD321 appears to play a role in epithelial tight junction formation. It emerges early in primordial forms of cell junctions and recruits PARD3. The association of the PARD6-PARD3 complex may prevent PARD3 from interacting with JAM1, thereby inhibiting tight junction assembly (By similarity). Additionally, CD321 regulates monocyte transmigration, contributing to epithelial barrier integrity (By similarity). As a ligand for integrin alpha-L/beta-2, it is involved in memory T-cell and neutrophil transmigration (PubMed:11812992) and participates in platelet activation (PubMed:10753840). In microbial infections, CD321 serves as a receptor for Mammalian reovirus sigma-1 and Human Rotavirus strain Wa.
