SLAMF7/CS1 Antibody (YA4514) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to CD319. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human, mouse, rat, monkey, rabbit.

CD319 is a self-ligand receptor of the signaling lymphocytic activation molecule (SLAM) family. SLAM receptors, triggered by homo- or heterotypic cell-cell interactions, modulate the activation and differentiation of various immune cells, thereby regulating and interconnecting both innate and adaptive immune responses. Their activities are controlled by the presence or absence of small cytoplasmic adapter proteins, SH2D1A/SAP and/or SH2D1B/EAT-2. Isoform 1 mediates NK cell activation via an SH2D1A-independent extracellular signal-regulated ERK-mediated pathway (PubMed:11698418) and positively regulates NK cell functions through a mechanism dependent on phosphorylated SH2D1B, with downstream signaling involving PLCG1, PLCG2, and PI3K (PubMed:16339536). While homotypic interactions between NK cells may contribute to activation, the absence of SH2D1B inhibits NK cell function. It also exhibits inhibitory effects in T-cells (By similarity). CD319 may play a role in lymphocyte adhesion (PubMed:11802771) and negatively regulates pro-inflammatory cytokine production in LPS-activated monocytes (PubMed:23695528). Isoform 3 does not mediate NK cell activation.
