CD314/NKG2D Antibody (YA3918) is a Mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG2a monoclonal antibody, targeting to CD314/NKG2D.

CD314 functions as an activating and costimulatory receptor involved in immunosurveillance by binding to various cellular stress-inducible ligands displayed on the surface of autologous tumor cells and virus-infected cells. It delivers both stimulatory and costimulatory innate immune responses in activated killer (NK) cells, leading to cytotoxic activity. As a costimulatory receptor for the T-cell receptor (TCR) in CD8(+) T-cell-mediated adaptive immune responses, it amplifies T-cell activation. CD314 stimulates perforin-mediated elimination of ligand-expressing tumor cells, with signaling involving calcium influx and culminating in TNF-alpha expression. It participates in NK cell-mediated bone marrow graft rejection and may regulate NK cell differentiation and survival. Its ligands include members of MHC class I-related glycoprotein subfamilies such as MICA, MICB, RAET1E, RAET1G, RAET1L/ULBP6, ULBP1, ULBP2, ULBP3 (ULBP2 > ULBP1 > ULBP3), and ULBP4.
