CD203C Antibody (YA3500)

CD203C Antibody (YA3500) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to CD203C. It can be applicated for IHC-P, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.

CD203C is a hydrolase that metabolizes extracellular nucleotides, including ATP, GTP, UTP, and CTP. It limits the response of mast cells and basophils during inflammation and chronic phases of allergic reactions by eliminating extracellular ATP, a signaling molecule that activates these cells in an autocrine manner. It metabolizes extracellular ATP in the small intestine lumen, preventing ATP-induced apoptosis of intestinal plasmacytoid dendritic cells (By similarity). The enzyme exhibits broad specificity, hydrolyzing UDP-GlcNAc into UMP and GlcNAc-1-phosphate, and potentially other intracellular nucleotide sugars such as UDP-GalNAc, CMP-NeuAc, GDP-Fuc, and UDP-GlcA, thereby possibly modulating glycan biosynthesis and protein glycosylation (By similarity). Additionally, it hydrolyzes extracellular dinucleoside polyphosphates, including vasoactive adenosine polyphosphates, and displays alkaline phosphodiesterase activity in vitro.
