CD18 Antibody (YA3651) is a Mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 monoclonal antibody, targeting to CD18.

CD18 (Integrin ITGAL/ITGB2) serves as a receptor for ICAM1, ICAM2, ICAM3, and ICAM4. It also interacts with the secreted form of ubiquitin-like protein ISG15, mediated by ITGAL. Integrins ITGAM/ITGB2 and ITGAX/ITGB2 act as receptors for the iC3b fragment of complement component 3 and fibrinogen, with ITGAX/ITGB2 recognizing the G-P-R sequence in the fibrinogen alpha-chain, and ITGAM/ITGB2 binding to P1 and P2 peptides of the fibrinogen gamma chain. ITGAM/ITGB2 additionally functions as a receptor for factor X, while ITGAD/ITGB2 binds ICAM3 and VCAM1. CD18 contributes to natural killer cell cytotoxicity and facilitates leukocyte adhesion and transmigration, including T-cells and neutrophils. During lung injury, it triggers neutrophil transmigration via PTK2B/PYK2-mediated activation. In association with ICAM3, ITGAL/ITGB2 aids in macrophage phagocytosis of apoptotic neutrophils.
