CD130 Antibody (YA3990) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to CD130. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human, monkey.

CD130 is a signal-transducing molecule that serves as a common signal-transducing subunit for receptor systems of IL6, LIF, OSM, CNTF, IL11, CTF1, and BSF3, initiating signal transmission through IL6ST. Binding of IL6 to IL6R induces IL6ST homodimerization, forming a high-affinity receptor complex that activates intracellular JAK-MAPK and JAK-STAT3 signaling pathways, leading to phosphorylation of IL6ST tyrosine residues and subsequent STAT3 activation. Concurrently, the IL6 signaling pathway induces the expression of SOCS1 and SOCS3, which inhibit JAK activity as a negative feedback loop (By similarity). Additionally, CD130 activates the YAP and NOTCH pathways independently of STAT3 to regulate inflammation-induced epithelial regeneration (By similarity). It acts as a receptor for the neuroprotective peptide humanin in a complex with IL27RA/WSX1 and CNTFR. CD130 mediates signals regulating immune response, hematopoiesis, pain control, and bone metabolism (By similarity) and plays critical roles in embryonic development, survival of motor and sensory neurons, astrocyte differentiation, TRPA1 expression in nociceptive neurons, and PTH1R maintenance in osteoblast lineage (By similarity). It also binds to the soluble IL6:sIL6R complex (hyper-IL6), blocking IL6 trans-signaling and sIL6R-dependent acute phase response, while inhibiting IL11 cluster signaling through IL11R.
