CD11b Antibody (YA6001) is a rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to CD11b. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, IP, ELISA assays, in the background of human, mouse, rat.

CD11b, also known as integrin ITGAM/ITGB2, is involved in various adhesive interactions of monocytes, macrophages, and granulocytes, as well as mediating the uptake of complement-coated particles and pathogens. It is identical to CR-3, the receptor for the iC3b fragment of the third complement component, and likely recognizes the R-G-D peptide in C3b. Additionally, CD11b serves as a receptor for fibrinogen, factor X, and ICAM1, recognizing the P1 and P2 peptides of the fibrinogen gamma chain. It regulates neutrophil migration and, in association with the beta subunit ITGB2/CD18, is required for CD177-PRTN3-mediated activation of TNF-primed neutrophils. By similarity, CD11b may regulate phagocytosis-induced apoptosis in extravasated neutrophils and play a role in mast cell development. By similarity, it is also required with TYROBP/DAP12 in microglia to control the production of superoxide ions, promoting neuronal apoptosis during brain development.
