Description

CCL19 beta Antibody (YA2923) is a non-conjugated IgG antibody, targeting CCL19 beta, with a predicted molecular weight of 11 kDa (observed band size: 11 kDa). CCL19 beta Antibody (YA2923) can be used for WB experiment in human background.

Background

CCL19 is a chemokine that may play roles not only in inflammatory and immunological responses but also in normal lymphocyte recirculation and homing. It is potentially important for T-cell trafficking in the thymus and the migration of T-cells and B-cells to secondary lymphoid organs. CCL19 binds to the chemokine receptor CCR7, and recombinant CCL19 exhibits potent chemotactic activity for T-cells and B-cells but not for granulocytes or monocytes. Additionally, CCL19 binds to the atypical chemokine receptor ACKR4 and mediates the recruitment of beta-arrestin (ARRB1/2) to ACKR4.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
