BTRC Antibody (YA4585)

BTRC Antibody (YA4585) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to BTRC. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, FC, ELISA assays, in the background of human.

BTRC is the substrate recognition component of the SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex, mediating ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. It recognizes and binds phosphorylated targets such as CTNNB1 (involved in Wnt signaling), NFKB1, ATF4, CDC25A, DLG1, FBXO5, PER1, SMAD3, SMAD4, and SNAI1. SCF(BTRC) also ubiquitinates NFKBIA, NFKBIB, and NFKBIE, releasing associated NFKB1 for nuclear translocation and transcriptional activation. Additionally, it regulates centriole separation via CEP68 ubiquitination and clock-dependent transcription by degrading phosphorylated PER1 and PER2. Similar functions include: mediating nuclear NFE2L1 ubiquitination and degradation (by similar), and negatively regulating cell pluripotency and embryogenesis through KLF4 ubiquitination (by similar). SCF(BTRC) further modulates mTORC1 signaling by ubiquitinating phosphorylated DEPTOR, TFE3, and MITF, and directs Lys-48-linked ubiquitination of UBR2 in TCR signaling.
