Beta Actin is a highly conserved protein that polymerizes to form filaments, creating cross-linked networks in the cytoplasm. It exists in both monomeric (G-actin) and polymeric (F-actin) forms, which play essential roles in cell motility and contraction. Additionally, G-actin and F-actin localize to the nucleus, regulating gene transcription and DNA damage repair. Beta Actin is involved in the assembly of the gamma-tubulin ring complex (gTuRC), which mediates the minus-end nucleation of alpha-beta tubulin heterodimers, promoting the growth of microtubule protafilaments. It also forms part of the ACTR1A/ACTB filament, serving as a scaffold for the dynactin complex (by similar). The dynactin multiprotein complex activates the molecular motor dynein, enabling ultra-processive transport along microtubules (by similar).

  Western blot analysis was performed on extracts from Hela (lane 1, 15 μg), Jurkat (lane 2, 15 μg), RAW264.7 (lane 3, 15 μg), 3T3 (lane 4, 15 μg), and C6 (lane 5, 15 μg) using beta Actin Rabbit mAb.Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight.The primary antibody (1:20000 dilution) and the loading control antibody (GAPDH, HY-P80137, 1:80000 dilution) were incubated in 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 1 hour at 37°C.Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (1:20000 dilution) was then applied for 40 minutes at 37°C.
