Description	BDH1 Antibody (YA4167) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting to BDH1. It can be applicated for WB, IHC-P, ELISA assays, in the background of human, mouse.
Background	BDH1 is a homotetrameric lipid-requiring enzyme located in the mitochondrial membrane, with a specific requirement for phosphatidylcholine for optimal enzymatic activity. It catalyzes the interconversion of acetoacetate and (R)-3-hydroxybutyrate, the two major ketone bodies produced during fatty acid catabolism. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described.
