Background

BAG2 is a co-chaperone for HSP70 and HSC70 chaperone proteins. It functions as a nucleotide-exchange factor (NEF), promoting the release of ADP from HSP70 and HSC70 proteins, thereby triggering the release of client/substrate proteins.

  • Western blot analysis was performed on extracts from Hela (lane 1, 20 μg), HepG2 (lane 2, 20 μg), A549 (lane 3, 20 μg), and U87MG (lane 4, 20 μg) using BAG2 Rabbit mAb.Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non - fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight.The primary antibody (1:1000 dilution) and the loading control antibody (beta-Tubulin, HY-P80955, 1:5000 dilution) were incubated in 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 1 hour at 37°C.Goat Anti - Rabbit/Mouse IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (1:20000 dilution) was then applied for 40 minutes at 37°C.
