Description	ARFGEF2 Antibody (YA2146) is a non-conjugated IgG antibody, targeting ARFGEF2, with a predicted molecular weight of 202 kDa (observed band size: 202 kDa). ARFGEF2 Antibody (YA2146) can be used for WB experiment in human, mouse, rat background.
Background	ARFGEF2 is a protein that promotes guanine-nucleotide exchange on ARF1 and ARF3, with weaker effects on ARF5 and ARF6. It activates ARF1/ARF5/ARF6 by replacing GDP with GTP and is involved in regulating Golgi vesicular transport while maintaining endosomal compartment integrity. Additionally, ARFGEF2 participates in trafficking from the trans-Golgi network (TGN) to endosomes and is required for membrane association of the AP-1 complex and GGA1. It may also be involved in recycling the transferrin receptor from recycling endosomes to the plasma membrane and the exit of GABA(A) receptors from the endoplasmic reticulum. ARFGEF2 contributes to the constitutive release of tumor necrosis factor receptor 1 via exosome-like vesicles, a function that appears to involve PKA, specifically PRKAR2B. By similar functions (by similar), it is proposed to act as an A kinase-anchoring protein (AKAP) and may mediate crosstalk between Arf and PKA pathways.
