Annexin A1/ANXA1 Antibody (YA5641) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated IgG1 monoclonal antibody, targeting to Annexin I. It can be applicated for IHC-P, WB, ICC/IF, ELISA assays, in the background of human, mouse, rat.

Annexin I plays key roles in the innate immune response as an effector of glucocorticoid-mediated responses and a regulator of inflammation, exhibiting anti-inflammatory activity. It contributes to glucocorticoid-mediated down-regulation of the early inflammatory phase (By similarity). In adaptive immunity, it enhances T-cell activation signaling, regulates differentiation and proliferation of activated T-cells, promotes Th1 cell differentiation, and inhibits Th2 cell differentiation (with no effect on unstimulated T-cells). It negatively modulates hormone exocytosis via formyl peptide receptor activation and actin cytoskeleton reorganization. Annexin I binds up to eight Ca²⁺ ions with high affinity (By similarity) and exhibits Ca²⁺-dependent phospholipid membrane binding. It participates in phagocytic cup and phagosome formation, facilitating phagocytosis through Ca²⁺-dependent interaction between phagosomes and the actin cytoskeleton (By similarity). Its functions partly involve formyl peptide receptor activation, promoting granulocyte and monocyte chemotaxis, cell polarization, migration, inflammation resolution, and wound healing. Additionally, it enhances CXCL2 release via neutrophil formyl peptide receptors.
