AGT Antibody (YA4722) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated monoclonal antibody, targeting to AGT. It can be applicated for WB, ELISA assays, in the background of human.

AGT is a key component of the renin-angiotensin system (RAS) that regulates blood pressure by binding to angiotensin receptors AGTR1 and AGTR2. It induces vasoconstriction via vascular smooth muscle, modulates cardiac contractility/heart rate, and stimulates aldosterone secretion from adrenal zona glomerulosa to control sodium/water reabsorption (experimental evidence). As a ligand for MAS1 receptor (By similarity), AGT also exhibits vasodilator, antidiuretic, and MAS1-mediated antithrombotic effects through nitric oxide release from platelets.
