Description	eIF4EBP3 Antibody (YA1080) is a non-conjugated IgG1 antibody, targeting 4E BP3, with a predicted molecular weight of 11 kDa (observed band size: 11 kDa). eIF4EBP3 Antibody (YA1080) can be used for WB experiment in human, mouse, rat background.
Background	EIF4EBP3 is a repressor of translation initiation that regulates EIF4E activity by preventing its assembly into the eIF4F complex. The hypophosphorylated form competes with EIF4G1/EIF4G3 and strongly binds to EIF4E, leading to translation repression, whereas the hyperphosphorylated form dissociates from EIF4E, enabling EIF4G1/EIF4G3-EIF4E interaction and subsequent translation initiation (By similarity). It also inhibits EIF4E-mediated mRNA nuclear export.
