Description

Antibacterial agent 294 is an antibacterial agent. Antibacterial agent 294 shows antibacterial effect against carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (CRAB) with a MIC of 0.5 μg/mL. Antibacterial agent 294 can be used for the research of infection[1].

In Vitro

Antibacterial agent 294 (Compound 7l) (48 h) shows no significant cytotoxicity in Vero cells and NIH-3T3 cells with CC50 values >200 μg/mL[1].
Antibacterial agent 294 (1-2 μg/mL) exhibits potent inhibitory activity against multiple clinical isolates of multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (MDR-AB), with an MIC range of 1-2 μg/mL and has a MIC value of 1 μg/mL for the standard strain ATCC-17978[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
