1. Cell Cycle/DNA Damage
  2. DNA/RNA Synthesis
  3. Deglycobleomycin

Deglycobleomycin is an RNA cleavage agent targeting r(CUG) repeat sequences. Deglycobleomycin can selectively cleave r(CUG)exp after binding to a small molecule that recognizes r(CUG)exp. The DNA cleavage efficiency of deglycobleomycin is much lower than that of Bleomycin A5 (Pingyangmycin) (HY-N10470). However, deglycobleomycin has enhanced selective cleavage activity against r(CUG)exp. Deglycobleomycin can be used to study diseases related to r(CUG)exp expansion (such as myotonic dystrophy type 1); and for the development of drugs that precisely target and cleave pathogenic RNA.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
