Apoa5 Antibody (YA4732) is a mouse-derived and non-conjugated monoclonal antibody, targeting to ApoA-V. It can be applicated for WB, ELISA assays, in the background of human.

Apoa5 is a minor apolipoprotein primarily associated with HDL and to a lesser extent with VLDL, and may also be linked to chylomicrons. It is a key determinant of plasma triglyceride (TG) levels, functioning as a potent stimulator of apo-CII lipoprotein lipase (LPL) TG hydrolysis and an inhibitor of hepatic VLDL-TG production rate (without affecting VLDL-apoB production rate) (By similarity). It poorly activates lecithin:cholesterol acyltransferase (LCAT) and does not enhance cholesterol efflux from macrophages. Additionally, it binds heparin.
